Enjoy sweeping views from Chieti, an ancient hilltop city known for its Roman ruins and the National Archaeological Museum.
Often called the "Balcony of Abruzzo," Chieti offers panoramic views stretching from the Maiella and Gran Sasso mountains to the Adriatic Sea. Older than Rome itself, the city is steeped in history, housing Roman temples, a well-preserved theater, and the famous Warrior of Capestrano in its archaeological museum.
